Abby is a special talent in the Ridgefield writer's community.

Please join us for a special speaker at our RAA membership meeting this Tuesday, February 27.
Ridgefield writer Abby Braithwaite will share about the not-so-solitary Art writing, her journey with self publishing, and her role with the Plas Newydd Farms Arts Initiative. She will share a reading of her work, and lead a short writing exercise for everyone at the meeting ( don’t be intimidated, everyone is a writer!) 😊 Abby is a volunteer facilitator with the Portland -based nonprofit “Write around PDX ” and hosts “Soup & Words, a monthly writing circle at Plas Newydd Farm. In addition to her two chapbooks, Abby has been published in the Washington Post, and in the anthology “Places like Home“ as well as the online journals HipMama, the Manifest-Station, and Reading and Traveling.
This meeting will be from 5-6 PM in the basement of the Methodist Church, 1410 South Hillhurst Dr. in Ridgefield.
