Another closing we’re incredibly grateful to have been a part of.
Our client had spent decades in this home with her late husband, so deciding to sell wasn’t something she took lightly. But as she thought about what she wanted her days to look like going forward, she realized she missed having people around. She missed conversation, companionship, and being part of a community.
She decided an independent living community was the right move for her. Once that decision was made, our job was to make everything that came after it as easy as possible.
And there was a lot to figure out.
What do you keep? What do you donate? Who do you call to haul away everything else? What needs to be repaired before the home goes on the market? And how do you coordinate all of that while also moving?
We helped put those pieces together, connecting her with people we trust for donations, hauling, moving, repairs, and everything else that needed to happen. Most importantly, she didn’t have to empty the house before she could move. She was able to take what she wanted, get settled into her new home, and leave the rest for us to help coordinate.
Afterward, she described the whole process as “easy breezy.”
That made our day.
We work with a lot of seniors who have spent decades in their homes, and we know how overwhelming a move like this can feel. Sometimes our job as Realtors is simply knowing who to call, what needs to happen next, and taking as much of that weight off our clients as we can.
We’re so happy for her and hope she’s enjoying having good company right outside her door. ❤️
