This LONG post has been 6 months in the making.
Back in September, I rediscovered my passion for coaching helping agents build the business of their dreams. I set out on a mission to figure out how I could leverage KWs amazing technology, systems and models to help close the gap between successful solo agents and those who fall out of the business. So, I decided that I was going to peruse the role of Productivity Coach in our Brokerage. So, I enrolled to take my Washington State Managing Broker clock hours to obtain my license.
“Time on Task Over Time”
“Sometimes you’re succeeding so slowly it feels like you’re failing”
“Remember WHY you’re here”
“Fail Fast. Fail Forward. Fail Often..”
“Keep at it. It WILL pay off”
These are all things I’ve personally said to my coaching clients just in the past 60 days since launching the program. Little did I know...very soon, I’d be the one needing to re-center on these principles.
When I got my Broker License in 2017, I passed the first time. This time around for the Managing Brokers License - I failed. By 3 points. Studied and tried again a couple weeks later. Failed by 7 points. Again. 5 points. Each failure, I struggled with self doubt. Disappointment. Limiting beliefs.
Today, my friends, I passed. There are too many people to list that helped me get here. Just know that I see you and I SO grateful for you.
Before I lose the rest of you, my point is this:
Nothing that’s worth doing in life is easy. Whatever you’re going after, whatever your dream is, go after it. Set goals and go. You may fail. It’s not the failure that counts. It’s the getting back up that does.
Real Estate is simple. It’s not easy. AND you don’t have to go at it alone. The world and market right now are bonkers, which can add their own special variety of challenge. If you’re an agent struggling in any way, I want to help. Mindset, Models, Systems, Technology. New Agents, Veteran Agents and anywhere in between. Slide into my DMs and let’s get started.
Most importantly: The shirt says it all.
