In between the 2 new listings I have coming up this week, showings, and having offers get accepted today, I also somehow managed to bake a cake from scratch today. My middle sweetie turned 16 and requested a Lemon Raspberry cake. I called around to probably 5 different places before taking matters into my own hands. Because if you want something done, do it yourself! So here is half of what is left. Plenty until next week when my youngest turns 13 😭 Who else has 3 teens in the house!?

One part of my job description is to "find the lockbox". You never really know where it will be. On the front door? No, that would be too easy. On a side gate,nope. Spigot, nah. How about on the outdoor lamp? It took me a good 5-7 minutes to find this one. Luckily, I always arrive early to my showings. This one was a doozy.

Part of my job is to help my sellers go through the home and list out what needs to be done to get it on the market. For the home here, they hired a contractor, he did some work and took off with their money. This happened BEFORE they contacted me. It's a beautiful 1910 home in Portland and will sell fast. But it needs some help getting there. As you can see the missing contractor did a shotty paint job (especially around the windows) and that porch needs some love. It's a large corner lot and completely remodeled inside. Im excited to share it when it's available. Who is looking for a historical home in Portland!?
