PENDING, after 2 days on the market!

Sometimes the right house comes along and completely changes the plan.

My sellers originally had a very calm, step-by-step timeline in mind. Sell their home in the spring, take their time, and purchase in the fall.

Then, over the summer, they found the house.

The right home, in the right location… just quite a bit earlier than planned.

We knew we needed to put them in the strongest possible position to secure it, and that meant getting creative rather than relying on a contingent offer.

This is where having the right people in your corner really matters.

Maya Davis worked incredibly hard on the lending side to find a financing strategy that allowed my clients to move forward with their purchase first. We figured out a game plan, got them into the home they really wanted, and then turned our attention to getting this one sold.

My sellers trusted me through a pretty major change of plans, followed my advice, and let me guide the process from one moving piece to the next.

We hit the market.

The next day, we had multiple offers.

And the day after that, we were officially PENDING.

2 days on the market.

Definitely not the timeline we originally mapped out, but sometimes real estate requires a Plan B… or C… and a really good team willing to figure it out with you.

So incredibly happy for my sellers. They took a leap when the right opportunity came along, trusted the people in their corner, and now both pieces of the puzzle are falling into place!

Real estate, but in real life 🤍

There’s almost never a “perfect” time to move.
There’s work, school, sports, babies, nap schedules, family stuff, finances… just life. None of that stops because you’re thinking about buying or selling a house!

I know that because I’m living it too.

And it’s something I think about a lot when I’m working with my clients. I’m not just looking at bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage. I want to know what actually works for your family.

Do you need a bigger yard? A shop? More room for your kids? A different school district? Less of a commute? Space for your parents someday? Maybe you’ve just realized the house you’re in doesn’t really work for your life anymore.

That’s the stuff I want to know.

Because if we’re going to buy a house, I want it to make sense for the way you actually live. And if we’re selling one, I know you still have kids to get out the door, work to do, dinner to make and an entire life happening while we’re trying to get your house ready, schedule showings and get to closing.

SOLD!

This one has been a long time coming, and I’m so happy for this sweet family! I’ve been working with these buyers for over a year, waiting for the right home to come along. There was never a reason to rush or settle for something that didn’t check the boxes that really mattered for their family. We just needed to find the one that made moving feel worth it.

And then this one came along!
The cutest home in the Ferry Street Bridge neighborhood, sitting on nearly 1/3 of an acre with the most incredible private backyard and so much potential for them to make it completely their own.

This move comes with some big changes and a whole new season for their family, but I have such a good feeling about what’s ahead. And the timing couldn’t be better, closing just in time to settle into their new neighborhood before the school year begins!

I can’t wait to see them make this place their own, fill that backyard with memories, and settle into everything this next chapter holds. Sometimes finding the right home takes a little longer, and this one was definitely worth waiting for.

It’s kind of crazy how much can change between now and fall 🍂

A new backyard for bonfires. A new place to host game day. Trick-or-treating in a new neighborhood. Pumpkin pie around your own table. Figuring out where the stockings will hang for the first time. These are the little things that make a house feel like home, and honestly, they’re some of my favorite parts of real estate. It’s never just about the house. It’s about the life that happens there.

This closing feels extra special 🩶
These buyers have been through quite the year. Unexpected changes, a few hiccups, plenty of pivots, and more than a couple moments where things didn’t go quite according to plan. But they kept moving forward, stayed the course, and today they officially get to call this beautiful place HOME!

I’m so incredibly happy for them and excited to see them step into this next chapter. There’s something pretty special about watching the pieces finally fall into place after a season that asked a lot of you.

The Junction City Scandinavian Festival kicked off today and runs through Sunday, bringing four days of food, music, dancing, vendors + Scandinavian culture to downtown Junction City.

After 65 years, this festival is such a fun part of summer in Lane County!! And, let’s be real, some of us are mostly there for the food 😂

One step closer to home!

My buyers are officially through their inspection contingency period on this beautiful Eugene home, and we’re moving right along toward closing!

They’re in the thick of packing and getting ready for their next chapter… and I might be doing a little secret sellers-agent prep work behind the scenes, too 😉 Lots of exciting things coming for this family, but for now, we’re counting down the days to closing!
