For ALL my local Realtor friends - an ask please.

As many of you know, I am the Sales Manager at the Compass office in Sarasota. My agents are reporting to me that at listing appointments it is being shared with them that our competitor agents are telling sellers that Compass listings won't appear on Zillow. I want to correct that. As a member of Stellar, we follow the rules. Our 3 Phase Marketing program (if a Seller wants to use it) complies with Clear Cooperation and therefore our listings DO appear on Zillow. I realize that we all look for competitive advantages but I don't believe any of our real estate colleagues want to purposefully spread mis-truths so I hope this message helps to clear that up!

Well, it has been annoying to us all that the Media has been directing our industry via the power of news in a way that is truly counter to what we know has been happening in our market. So I guess we should be somewhat happy they have come around and are finally admit what we "boots on the ground" already know!!

I note that both the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times said this week that it would appear that housing is making a comeback.
