September 11 changed our lives.
Patrick and I were inside the World Trade Center when the first plane hit. We were fortunate to walk out that morning, and we will never forget looking up and realizing what had happened.
Twenty-five years later, what stays with us isn't only the memory of that day. It's the reminder that life can change in an instant.
Be kind. Make the phone call. Take the trip. Help someone when you can. Spend time with the people who matter. And don't keep putting life off for "someday."
Today, we remember those whose lives were taken before they had the chance to move forward, and we honor the extraordinary people who stepped forward to help them — many giving their own lives in the process.
For those of us fortunate enough to have more tomorrows, perhaps the best way we can honor them is to make those tomorrows count.
We remember. We are grateful. And we move forward with purpose. 🇺🇸
