ESQUIRE LAND TITLE IS BRACING FOR HURRICANE HELENE! BE SAFE OUT THERE Y’ALL!

We are closed Thursday with limited access to phones and email. We hope to be back in the office on Friday

Tropical Storm Helene is moving north into the Gulf and expected to become a Hurricane by tomorrow evening. At the present time, the eye of the storm is not expected to make landfall in our area of Southwest Florida, but you should expect very high winds, heavy rain and possible flooding. If you haven’t already prepared for it, be sure to do it NOW!

Secure your home.
Have a preparedness kit handy with flashlights, etc.
Stay tuned in to news and weather reports.
Follow instructions issued by local officials. Leave immediately if ordered!!
If not ordered to evacuate:
Take refuge in a small interior room, closet or hallway on the lowest level during the storm. Put as many walls between you and the outside as you can.
Stay away from widows, skylights and glass doors.
If the eye of the storm passes over your area, there will be a short period of calm, but at the other wise of the eye, the wind speed rapidly increases to hurricane force winds coming from the opposite direction.

Most of all, BE SMART and stay as SAFE and SECURE as possible. If in doubt on what to do, visit the National Weather Service at https://www.weather.gov/safety/hurricane-plan.

The best time to prepare for a hurricane is before hurricane season begins on June 1. It is vital to understand your home's vulnerability to storm surge, flooding, and wind. Here is your checklist of things to do BEFORE hurricane seasons begins.
