🏛️ The Venice Museum will be open special hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 4!
After the Independence Day parade, make your way to the Venice Museum to explore Venice Turns 100!, our special Centennial exhibit showcasing the people, places and moments that shaped our city's first century.
While you're here, grab some centennial stickers and magnets, browse the gift shop and seasonal exhibits before heading over to the festivities at West Blalock Park and inside the Venice Community Center, where the City of Venice and Venice MainStreet, Inc. are hosting a patriotic Community Picnic celebrating both America 250 and the City of Venice's Centennial.
🍉 Watermelon eating contests, potato sack races and tug-of-war
🎶 Live music, storybook characters, face painting and family activities

🎭 Special performances and entertainment throughout the day

🎆 Then, cap off the celebration with the City's annual July 4th fireworks, visible from Venice area beaches beginning around 9 p.m. as they're launched over the Gulf.
