Road trip to Maine... friday.... left warm comfortable hotel... did another lap of Acadia National Park... found a fun street in Ellsworth with another Finns Irish pub... put our dollar on the wall at the pub... then checked into our tent at Under Canvas Acadia... no electricity ... but we brought 2 bottles of wine from our wedding so we should be ok. Time will tell.

Road trip to Maine. First stop Newport (Buskers pub recommended) and laughed at a shop called Fat Face. Did the scenic tour bus around Newport. Fun.

Then lunch in Salem MA. Town full of witches in Oct. Great lunch at Finz. Found a good sign for our front door in Brig.... "Witches Welcome."

Thanks to brother Bob for house and puppy watching while we are away.

Grateful for fast responses by Brigantine police and fire department. In the middle of the night our house fire alarm went off and stayed loud for 15 minutes. We could not find any problems but did not have any idea what was up. We called 911 and had a team of police and fire at our house very quickly. They found a bad smoke detector and gave us peace of mind. Very impressed by the local team. Thank you.

After dropping friends at Newark airport we had dinner at Jon Bon Jovi Soul Kitchen in Red Bank. What a great experience. Awesome food. Friendly service. And Pay if forward approach to payments.
