On 1/1/26 I was able to take my first deer as it’s been something I’ve been wanting to do since I was 8 years old. I understand that many people have a hard time with the idea of hunting or eating meat for a variety of reasons and rationals. For me, a meat eater, it made complete sense. I wanted to have the spiritual experience of taking the life of an animal to gain a larger respect for the animals we eat. I wanted to feel excitement, the rush and the sadness. As a man I think it creates a new level of maturity and manhood that all of us who are meat eaters should experience once.
This was an experience that I will never forget and will cherish for the rest of my life.
