Doing a 1031 Exchange? Look for a broker with extensive experience and expertise in facilitating 1031 Exchanges. They should have a solid understanding of the tax code and the complexities of the exchange process, like the identification rules, for instance. Knowing the difference between the 3 Property Rule and the 200% Rule could have a significant impact on the outcome of an exchange (and money you owe or not!).
