Online ADU and JADU Permitting Is Now Live

The City of Port Hueneme now offers online permitting for Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and Junior ADUs (JADUs) through its new permitting portal. Residents can submit applications, upload plans and drawings, and track the status of their projects from home at any time. This general ADU/JADU permit can include electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work, along with any required plans or drawings. Please submit a separate application for each unit.

The link below takes you to the City’s full Online Permitting Portal, where you can also find and apply for other available permit types. Through the portal, users can create an account or log in to start a new application, upload project documents and respond to staff comments, and receive notifications and check application status online.
