As of Friday, April 24th, my beloved companion has passed on, but her final moments were filled with love, wrapped in my arms, surrounded by vibrant flowers, and savoring her favorite foods.
I’m deeply grateful for the 16½ incredible years we shared. Sophie was more than just a pet – she embodied unconditional love, taught me to care for another with kindness, and showed me the true meaning of devotion. With her remarkable spirit, intelligence, and determination, Sophie lived life to the fullest, reminding me to cherish every moment.
Sophie was the most strong-willed, smart, and determined little soul. She could open the refrigerator on her own—and if I didn’t keep it locked, she would happily help herself to everything inside. That was her… clever, stubborn, and full of life in the most unforgettable ways.
I’ll miss her every day, but I’m thankful for our memories and the lessons she taught me about living fully and loving without bounds. Sophie will forever hold a place in my heart. May she rest in peace, surrounded by love and joy.
