Entryway makeover ✨I wanted to experiment with a Roman Clay wall texture. I was looking for something very subtle and light, so I chose to stick with one color rather than two for a more contrasted look. It’s subtle, but if you zoom in, you can see the texture a bit more! I was not in love with the dark gray from the second I painted it, but I had just painted an entire house and was not going to repaint at that time! 😆 I went into this knowing it could turn out to be a complete fail. There were definitely moments of doubt, but nothing is permanent so why not! Your home is yours to make your own, so have fun with it! ❤️

We finished up the new built-in cabinets for the dining room! Swipe to see the progress. I ordered some antique brass hardware for the doors for the finishing touch. It’s the little details that make it all come together! And someday I’ll add family photos to those frames. 🤪 The extra storage is perfect for my serving dishes and the top gives extra space for decor or food/drink while hosting! Happy with the end result and always so happy when a project is done. 😉

Getting ready to sell and need to stage your bedroom? Here are 3 tips to give your room a refresh and attract more buyers.

The first thing you should do to prepare any room before you hit the market, is to downsize belongings in each space and give the essentials a good cleaning. Remove unnecessary items from your nightstands, dresser tops and closet. Clear, tidy furniture is instantly more inviting and opens the room up. You can make your bedroom and closet feel much larger when it is not overwhelmed by things.

Neutral color tones will appeal to a broader market, giving your home a chance to appeal to numerous buyers and raising the potential of receiving several offers! The more offers that are on the table, the more profit.💰Give your bedroom a fresh coat of paint in a neutral color if needed. Swap bedding to a more neutral base and dress up your bed with fluffy down comforters and pillows. You can add pops of color with some throw blankets and throw pillows.

Lighting is important. The more natural light the better. Add bedside lamps and maybe a floor lamp. Keep your curtains neutral colored and open for showings to allow allllll the light in! A bright, fresh looking bedroom will make any buyer swoon. ✨
