One of the best cheat codes to a beautiful green lawn? MOW HEIGHT.

Cutting grass too short (or "scalping") stresses the plant, forcing it to use energy reserves instead of creating food through photosynthesis. This practice restricts root development, encouraging w**d infestation, drought damage, and brown, patchy spots. Maintaining a height of 3 to 3.5 inches allows for deeper roots and a thicker, healthier, and more drought-resistant lawn.
