It’s been a great start to summer! ☀️

Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson in Nashville, time with friends and family in Tennessee, camps, VBS, baseball, birthdays, pool days, mahjong, ice cream runs, and the occasional nap squeezed in whenever possible. We’re also anxiously awaiting Daisy’s puppies’ arrival and counting down the days! 🐶

Throw in Mattie getting her driver’s permit (and me aging about 10 years in the passenger seat 😅), and we’ve packed a lot into just a few weeks.

I’m not sure “slower paced” is the right phrase, but it’s definitely a different kind of busy—and I’m soaking up every minute of it. ❤️☀️

What’s your sign to buy the house? 🏡✨

I showed my family a house that was absolutely INCREDIBLE, and while we were walking through it, Ford spotted a coffee table book that said Tom Ford.

Naturally, he decided it was a sign. 😂

“Mom, it has our names on it!” (For those who don’t know, his name is Ford and my husband is Tom.)

Apparently that’s all the confirmation he needed that we should move in immediately. It also didn't hurt his best friend lives really close. 😉

Last week we closed a special chapter of our lives as Ford finished 5th grade, bringing our 10 years at Vestavia West to an end. 💙 It was definitely bittersweet. We are so incredibly thankful for the teachers, staff, friendships, and memories that made this place feel like home for our family for so long. What a blessing these years have been.

I still remember Ford walking into kindergarten with his little blonde streak bowl cut and a mask on the first day of Kindergarten. Now here we are heading to middle school, and I could not be more proud of who he has become. He still loves to talk ALL the time 😂, is kind, funny, determined, loves the Lord, and brings so much joy to our family. We are so excited for his next chapter at Pizitz Middle School

Fifteen years ago today, God gave me one of my greatest blessings. 💕 Happy 15th Birthday to my girl!

We loved celebrating YOU today and doing all your favorites — Starbucks, Krispy Kreme, Escape Room x2 (yay, we escaped 😂), Ono Poke, Great American Cookie, and Sumo with family. It truly could not have been a better day celebrating you!

I love watching you grow into such a beautiful, strong, and kind young lady. I am so proud of who you are becoming, Mattie, and so thankful God chose me to be your mom. You have such a special light about you, and I pray you never lose it. 💖

Like I pray every night — let God’s light shine through you so others may see a glimpse of His love. Keep shining that light everywhere you go. ✨

Sipping some tea in my new mug from the Blue Door Gala Tommy and I attended this past weekend… and still thinking about what a meaningful night it was. 💙

The Blue Door Gala for Prescott House was truly something special—such a beautiful evening supporting an even more important mission. Prescott House is a non-profit Child Advocacy Center in Birmingham, Alabama, that provides a safe, child-friendly environment for victims of abuse and witnesses to violence, offering forensic interviews, therapy, and support services at no cost to families. They coordinate with law enforcement, prosecution, and child protective services to investigate and treat abuse cases, all with the goal of reducing trauma and restoring hope through a multidisciplinary approach.

Walking alongside an organization doing this kind of work is both humbling and inspiring. The impact they have on children and families in our community is profound.

Hearing Lauren Sisler share her story was incredibly powerful. Her honesty about broken places, healing, and purpose is something that stays with you. A reminder that even the hardest parts of our stories can be used for good—and can help others feel seen and supported.

Grateful to have been part of a night that shines light on something so important. 💙

Praise the Lord! Mattie gets another year to do what she loves! Year 2 as a Rockette! 🥳💙❤️

After making the team last year and then having to have surgery after her first game and being out the rest of the season, she went into this season nervous—but prayerful—that her body would allow her to get back to where she was and ready for tryouts.

My girl has a drive and passion that is a force of nature.

Mattie- I am so proud of you for bouncing back and working your tail off. I can't wait to watch you under those Friday night lights!💙 💃🏽🏈❤️

Thankful doesn’t even begin to cover it. 🤍

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that all FOUR of my children’s grandparents would live within 3 miles of us. And today… my sweet momma moved even closer — just 3 miles down the road. 🏡

In the next two weeks, my dad’s condo will be finished and he’ll be about 2 miles away. And my sweet in-laws...are a short 1.5 miles away and fun scooter ride for the kiddos.

What a gift. What a covering. What a legacy for our kids.

Front porch visits. Last-minute dinners. Grandparent drop-ins. Holidays that don’t require packing suitcases. The everyday moments that turn into lifelong memories.

I don’t take it lightly. Having all of them this close is something I consider such a blessing — and one I’m incredibly grateful for. 🤍
