To our wonderful guests and community, we want to share that due to ongoing health and medical issues, we have made the difficult decision to close our daily and weekend short-term cabin rental business starting this September . Managing short-term stays requires a level of physical energy and attention that we can no longer maintain, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who has stayed with us and supported our small business over the years. While we are stepping away from vacation rentals, we are not closing completely; moving forward, our cabins will transition exclusively to month-to-month rentals. We want to take a moment to address some serious issues on this page. We are deeply frustrated and saddened by the theft, damage, scams, and false accusations we’ve been facing. We never expected this kind of behavior, and we’re tired of letting it go unnoticed. We have removed previous posts, but we do want to thank everyone for their comments and support. We apologize for any commotion this has caused on our page ,but we felt it was important to put the truth out in the open. Our business and reputation matter, and we will do everything we can to protect them. Any further matters, complaints, or concerns about this situation will be handled accordingly & legally . Not naming names, but an accusation has been made against our cabins, alleging the presence of blood on the walls, which the lady in question persistently disputed, despite it being clearly identified as paint. The bathroom had a partial hole in the door , which was caused by an incident weeks prior and had been thoroughly cleaned multiple times since, with no evidence of blood ever being present in the cabin. A full refund was provided to resolve the matter and facilitate her departure from the cabin. However, refunds for the other two cabins were not granted, as the complaints arose only after their friend received a refund and the rest of the group wished to leave together. The lady repeatedly claimed to be in the medical field and asserted her ability to identify blood. An offer was made to provide disinfectants and demonstrate that the substance was not blood. Unfortunately, this situation has escalated beyond a complaint and now constitutes harassment of an elderly man, including derogatory remarks using the term stupid hillbilly. This behavior is unacceptable and may lead to harassment charges. Thank you, we are sorry for the inconvenience, but we believe our followers deserved an explanation, as the individuals in question will not cease their harassment on our page. Sorry for the inconvenience, but this matter will be handled. Btw this is paint not blood !
