Looking for something for the kids to do?

**REGISTRATION FOR CAMP KEIMRYN IS OPEN!!**

Campers must be 10-14 years of age prior to start of camp. The camp will begin on Wednesday, July 15th and end on Friday, July 17th, 2026.

Campers will have the opportunity to train with police officers, leading to a positive relationship between the Victoria Police Department and our youth.

Campers will participate in hands-on drills, role-playing, and demonstrations in the areas of patrol unit familiarity, CPR, K-9, drone, handcuffing, and traffic stops.

Our camp will provide each student with the opportunity to participate in team building activities which promote social skills, developing positive attitudes, and practices which are crucial for positive leadership in our community.

The cost to attend will be $45 per camper which will include a camp T-shirt and meals!

Phew! Well, it took a few early mornings and late nights, but the City has successfully sprayed all 18 zones for mosquitos! 🚘 💨 🦟 Thank you to the hard-working Victoria Parks and Recreation Staff who started spraying Wednesday night and finished up Saturday night, spraying in the early morning and late evening when mosquitos are most active. ☀️ 🌙

Now to do it all over again! The City is planning to start another citywide spray Tuesday morning (tomorrow). 🚘 💨 🦟

The City of Victoria can only spray on public property, so we ask for everyone to help prevent mosquitos by:
💧 Dumping out standing water, found in pots, bowls, tarps, etc.
💧 Adding larvicide, like mosquito dunks, to puddles or ruts.
💧 Changing the water in bird baths and wading pools every week.

If you are still experiencing issues with mosquitos in your area and would like to make a report, you can do so three ways:
🦟 Use the Victoria Texas 311 app
🦟 Go to victoriatx.gov and click “Report a Concern”
🦟 Or call Parks and Recreation at 361-485-3200
