This Monday, we recognize Rachael Massey. Rachael is from Southern California, where she met Patrick when he was stationed at Camp Pendleton. They were together for 6 of his 9.5 years in the Marine Corps. They moved 4 times in those 6 years and spent most of our time in North Carolina where he was stationed at MCAS New River. During their time in North Carolina, Rachael participated in the spouses kickball league, which became a true love of hers. Eventually she became a coach and loved the camaraderie of all of the spouses spending time together and supporting each other.
Rachael has received her Associates in Business Administration and is working towards her Bachelors in Business. As a military spouse she states, “I worked many different jobs while juggling moving a lot.” Once her and Patrick became established in Minnesota, Rachael began her role as an Accounting Specialist with Wohlenberg Ritzman CPA. She has always enjoyed helping people and in this role and found her love of accounting and numbers. “So happy that I found a career that I truly enjoy,” states Rachael. They have been married ten years this year! They have two girls, one born while he was stationed at New River. As I always said, “family life in the military is a certain kind of special. Challenging but also wonderful and exciting.” 💪💙

This Monday, we recognize Julia Stein Dittberner. Julia is Celebrating 20 years of marriage and service in active-duty Navy followed by the Air Force Reserve, Julia and John have much to celebrate! Military and work life have brought the couple to New York, Arizona, Florida, Oklahoma and finally, Minnesota. As an E-6B pilot, John flew two tours in the Middle East and since military retirement now flies the Airbus A330 internationally for Delta Air Lines. Julia and John have two sons: Theo (11) and Micah (8).
Continuing the aviation thread, Julia earned her law degree in Oklahoma and now practices as an aviation attorney at Fafinski, Mark & Johnson, PA in Minnesota. Her passion to draw more women into the field of aviation makes her a regular attendee at Minnesota Women Lawyers events and a dedicated mentee to women law students. Outside of the law, Julia is active in the community, volunteering and serving in leadership roles for a number of organizations. 💪💙

This , we recognize Amy Kinard. Amy has been a military spouse to Eric for 20 years, during which they have built a life together through Army service. Eric has served as a Cavalry Scout in various Airborne units across North Carolina, Germany, Alaska, and Hawaii. Together, they are raising two children, Marissa (17) and Brady (14), in Fort Benning, GA.
Throughout military life, Amy has cultivated a strong passion for relationship-building and discovered a love for sales. She recently joined VAUSA as a Client Success Specialist, where she supports the mission to create meaningful employment opportunities for military spouses. In her role, Amy partners with clients to help them identify opportunities to leverage their God-given gifts more effectively through the support of a Virtual Assistant. This Monday, we recognize Reyna Worthy. Reyna is a mom of two, a military spouse, advocate, and founder of The Desk of a Navy Wife ™, an empowerment platform dedicated to supporting military spouses through career growth, leadership development, and community connection. She is the creator of the Empowerment Leads: A Military Spouse Summit ™and host of The Desk of a Navy Wife ™ Podcast, where she amplifies the voices and lived experiences of military spouses across the globe.
With a background in human resources, training, and communications, Reyna bridges lived experience with practical tools, helping spouses navigate deployments, PCS transitions, and identity shifts while building sustainable careers and strong voices. Her work centers on advocacy, storytelling, and creating spaces where military spouses move from surviving military life to leading with confidence and clarity. 💪💙

This Monday, we recognize Pam Arnell. Pam takes pride in her faith and family. Her late husband, Jerome, was a combat veteran in Desert Storm and passed away in July 2023 from cancer. Pam has one son, Allen, daughter in love, Angel and 3 amazing grandkids who call her nana.
Dr. Arnell’s extensive history of working with children and their families which includes but is not limited to assessments, parenting, su***de prevention, su***de intervention, and working with those who have trauma. She is an auxiliary member of the Giles County Fire Department and a volunteer fire department member since 2008. Dr. Arnell was an adjunct professor for Columbia State Community College, teaching in the Psychology and Education department. She is also a member of civic organizations in Giles County in addition to being an emeritus member of the Tennessee Su***de Prevention Network. Dr. Arnell now serves on the Tennessee Governor’s Su***de Challenge Task Force for the Tri-Stars and Stripes, aimed at Armed Forces Members and their families, an initiative to end su***de in Tennessee. In November 2022, Dr. Arnell became the Executive Director for 22Zero. 22ZERO provides free trauma healing to veterans, first responders, their spouse and minor children living in the home, Nationwide.
Dr. Arnell implemented the 22ZERO Ambassador program in addition to the 22ZERO – Heroes Untold Stories program, to further expand the mission of 22ZERO. Dr. Arnell contacted Arizona State University in 2022 and started independent research to prove evidence-based practices for 22ZERO. The first study was published last year in August. Currently, there are two other studies in the peer review phase at this time. 💪💙
