Last night's School Board meeting included a special recognition of three outstanding community partners as part of the Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) Business Honor Roll. We are grateful for their continued commitment to supporting our students, staff, and schools.
🏆 Lunenburg Chamber of Commerce--
Honored for promoting school events, donating time to support mock interviews and the Career Expo, and working collaboratively with the Student Chamber of Commerce to create meaningful opportunities for students.
🏆 The Smyth Group, powered by Real Broker--
Recognized for generously volunteering time and financial resources for the Playhouse Auction, participating annually in the Career Expo, teaching real estate courses at the high school, conducting mock interviews, attending CTE Advisory Board meetings, and serving as co-advisor to the Student Chamber of Commerce.
🏆 The Bryan Hospitality Group--
Recognized for mentoring culinary students, serving as a guest speaker, providing students with valuable learning opportunities, hosting culinary lessons at his Richmond business, and offering event planning guidance and hands-on experiences.
These partnerships help prepare our students for future success by connecting classroom learning with real-world experiences. THANK YOU to each of these organizations for your dedication to LCPS and our students!
