Congratulations Mayo Family
🙏🏼🏠🎉💙🩷👏🏼🙏🏼
While searching for the right home I spend countless hours with my clients, and sometimes those clients become friends, and sometimes they become family!
Well the sweet young Mayo family are now my family! I have adopted two smart and wise grandkids and three adorable and well behaved great-grandkid!!! They are the sweetest and cutest family! We searched high and low for a home that would allow their dreams to come true. Mark is a Hero Firefighter 👨🏻‍🚒 and very handy 🔨with renovations. Sarah’s dream is to stay at home and continue to be able to homeschool 📚their children.
So while looking at homes I kept in mind that they wanted a fixer-upper that could be renovated into something that would suite their needs. We saw many homes that seemed beyond repair😳😱🫣. We needed a home with good bones 🏚️but just needed love, new flooring, fresh paint, some rotten woods replaced, new fixtures, and maybe new appliances🏠. We ran across this one home that still needed to have its estate sale. It was so jam packed with stuff it was hard to envision its potential! But as we looked at several other homes this one home kept tugging on Sarah’s heart. I think she felt the family-knit-love that existed in the home from the previous owners. She asked one day if we could go back and look at it again, so of course we did. The estate sale had taken place and the sellers and their amazing Realtor Molly Volek had removed all the left over items and cleaned the home. So when we walked in the second time we were all able to see what Sarah felt all along, it was a diamond 💎in the rough!!! And as they say, the rest is history…
The Mayo family and their extended family will be working
💪🏼🔨🪚🔧🪏🧰hard to turn this house 🏚️into a home🏠, a home in the country with a large yard for the kids to play, a home with a perfect spot to homeschool, a home with room to expand when needed, and a home for the Mayo family to love for a long time just like the previous family before.
And to make their story even better, they saved money purchasing their home because Mark is a Hero 🤩 and I was able to bless them with some savings with the Homes for Heroes Rebate program!!!
