So you are waiting for mortgage rates to go down AND home prices to drop? You may be waiting for a while. How it works is when rates are higher homes prices drop. Which means you as a buyer will be paying more for a home when rates drop. Thinking of buying my advice is to contact a reliable lender and get your facts as to what you qualify for along with all your buying options. Remember you can always refinance your loan but what you paid for you home is permanent.
