Yes, mortgage rates have been inching up these past few weeks. But it’s still more affordable to buy compared to buyers who made a purchase last year.
Even now, the average monthly payment is about $300 lower than it was just a year ago.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Both my parents were born in Puerto Rico so I am an original NuroRican~! Growing up in Brooklyn was wonderful! Brooklyn is very diversified and made up of many different ethnic groups, therefore I was exposed to different cultures for example there is the Jewish, Italian, Hispanic, African American, Asian and Russian neighborhoods that each have their own unique customs and GREAT food! Consequently, it helped me to not only have an appreciation for diversity but a respect for different customs, cultures and religions. I did not start out looking for a career in real estate, but real estate came looking for me! I began as a receptionist in a real estate office. The Broker and the agents would encourage me to get my real estate license. I didn’t think this career was for me but I gave it a try and I am grateful I did as I have not looked back ever since. That was many years ago! I moved to California in the year 2000 to be closer to my family. It has been an adjustment and at first a culture shock but I have adjusted and especially love the weather! I sold New Homes for 5 years until the market turned upside down. I re-invented myself and helped many distressed home owners through the process of short sale. I am happy to see the market flourishing and becoming stabilized once again. Most of my business is referral based and I look forward to helping as many people as I can in achieving their Dream!
