Raised in a military family, Dee followed in her father's footsteps by serving our country in the United States Air Force before transitioning into a fruitful 28 year career with Verizon. Dee spent 24 years of her career with Verizon in leadership roles, and most recently,

she supported the Department of Homeland Security, FEMA, USCG, ICE, Secret Service and Custom Border Protection. Dee has also spent her time giving back to the community by volunteering at the Alexandria Police Department and the Alexandria Sexual Assault Hotline. Upon her recent retirement from Verizon, Dee was named Director of NOVA Soccer Academy, a successful soccer training academy. As Director of NOVA Soccer Academy, she partnered with Fairfax County Family Services and Alexandria Police Foundation to create scholarship programs to enable children regardless of financial status the opportunity to participate in this elite soccer program.
