Kasia was born and raised in Kalisz, Poland. Her thirst for independence and search for knowledge brought her to the United States in 1996 and surprisingly what she had thought to be only one year of foreign adventure, turned into a life of new opportunities, which she decided to undertake, half across the Globe from home. She likes its diversity, fast growing pace and proximity to the US capital. Although she does not actively engage in politics and considers herself a liberal independent, living close to where the decisions take place somehow gives her a sense of importance. Her interests are diverse and range from psychology, history, music and languages to art. She likes to keep her mind and body fit, she enjoys working out, hiking, power-walking, biking and dancing. One of her talents includes writing. She mainly writes short fiction stories, which she delivers with unexpected intensity and clarity of expression. She is working towards her first publication. In her professional life, she is a naturally born leader, motivator, coach. She is knowledgeable, experienced and a true pleasure to work with.
