📈 Sales, prices rose in May as Fairfax’s spring real estate market finds its footing

Fairfax County home sales rose 11.7% year-over-year in May to 1,427 closings, while the average sales price climbed 5.7% to $940,507. Total sales volume increased 17% to $1.32 billion, with pending sales and listings also up from a year earlier.

An Arlington public high school could be moving to Amazon HQ2.

School leaders are considering a 30-year agreement that would relocate Arlington Community High School to Amazon's Pentagon City campus beginning in the 2026–2027 school year.

The school serves about 300 students and offers both day and evening classes. The Arlington School Board is scheduled to make a final decision on June 18.
