This July, North Arrow Partners broke ground on The Blackstone, a new 36-unit affordable senior housing community for adults ages 55 and older in Du Quoin, Illinois.
The two-story community will feature thoughtfully designed apartments that support accessibility, independence, and aging in place, along with amenities including a community room, fitness center, community garden, secure building entry, and six ADA-accessible apartments.
As co-developer, co-owner, architect, and general contractor, North Arrow Partners is proud to help bring The Blackstone to life. Construction is underway, with completion anticipated in Fall 2027.
We are grateful to our project partners, including Turnstone Development, Illinois Housing Development Authority, Hudson Housing, Associated Bank, and the City of Du Quoin whose collaboration and commitment helped bring this project to this important milestone.
We look forward to welcoming residents to The Blackstone and creating new affordable housing opportunities for older adults in the Du Quoin community.

The 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) deadline is quickly approaching. This program provides an important opportunity to create quality, affordable housing communities.
North Arrow Partners has used 9% LIHTC financing to help bring projects like Hall Street Lofts to Sandwich, Illinois to life. NAP provided development and construction services for the project, which was completed in 2017.

A look at the latest progress from Coal City, Il at the site of Hunter’s Run!
Our team continues to make great strides as construction moves forward on this 11-building senior affordable housing community. We’re excited to watch these homes take shape and look forward to the lasting impact Hunter’s Run will have on the Village of Coal City community for years to come.

We're excited to announce that the Lincoln Park Place project received its Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) award, with construction starting in 2027. The three-story senior housing community will consist of 42 apartment homes with one- and two-bedroom floor plans, along with an on-site management office, shared community space, laundry facilities, bicycle storage, and a community garden.
North Arrow Development is proud to partner with Turnstone Development, Prairie Land Community Development and Danna Capital Corporation on this project.

We’re grateful for the collaboration of our partners and the continued support of Illinois Housing Development Authority as we work to make this vision a reality.

We can’t wait to see this project take shape and make a lasting impact in the City of Red Bud, IL.

North Arrow Partners is excited to celebrate the groundbreaking of The Blackstone, a new senior housing community coming to Du Quoin, Illinois.
Join us as we mark this important milestone and celebrate the beginning of construction.
Developed in partnership with Turnstone Development, The Blackstone will provide 36 new affordable senior apartments designed to support independent living and create a welcoming community for residents ages 55 and older.
We look forward to celebrating with the City of Du Quoin, Du Quoin Mayor Josh Downs, the Illinois Housing Development Authority, and all those joining us.
