Okay Central Louisiana, let's try this again!

In a way, TVS could be seen as taking the place of a once popular and historic Forest Hill Speedway that closed its gates for the last time in the late 90s. Not only has TVS held many local Dirt Track racing events, but fans have also been treated to shows of a different kind throughout the years.

The mud pits that sit north of turns 3 and 4 have seen Mud Trucks competing in Mud Truck racing on several occasions. There have been multi-day racing weekends that offered Live entertainment for pit parties. And not to long ago, fans had the opportunity to come out for weekend long Monster truck event that featured some of local Monster truck drivers. Maybe you remember the time one of the Monster trucks entered the track by jumping the turns 3 and 4 wall landing in the infield!

The memories and history that this young facility hold are just waiting for those gates to open up again, the lights to turn on and hear that sound of 100+ cars fire up to put on a show like no other track can.

I wanted to take a minute to recognize a few of the local businesses and families for their support towards PPHS and the Panther Football team.
Local businesses are the key supporters to all aspects of our athletics here in Pine Prairie and Evangeline parish. Not only are they obligated to pay taxes that go to support our school district, there are some that never hesitate to step up and give towards a fundraiser for these teams and school clubs.
Make sure to check out this collection of those businesses. These are not the only ones, I will post more later in the week.
