About the Owner:

Mike Savoy is a skilled carpenter, a US Army veteran and has been a Registered Nurse since 1996 and continues as the MVRHS nurse here on the Vineyard. He is a native of Boston's South Shore and began as a nurse in the ER at the Martha's Vineyard Hospital in 1996 staying on staff part time while transitioning back to Boston... where Mike worked in Emergency/Trauma for over 20 years before returning to make the island his permanent home. Mike has a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from University of Massachusetts Boston and has done his Master's degree work at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Mike started True North Caretaking & Property Management on returning to the island in 2014. He is married and has two children, and resides in Vineyard Haven with his family.

ERIN | Fri 5 am advisory is in. No major track or watch/warning changes with this advisory. Erin is still forecast to become a hurricane today and a major hurricane by Sunday as it passes well north of the Leeward Islands. A turn away from the US East Coast is very likely next week with no direct impacts to the US mainland.
