Gains don't come without loss, we have a sensitive and urgent need for affordable housing. It's personal. We need to protect and encourage investments in our island while protecting our local community-

I mean- so many have moved here and yet.....We can't get a cup of coffee in Oak Bluffs beyond October.

Come and join us, sure, but put down some roots and have an impact. There are many ways to support and reinforce health in our local business communities: shop local, eat local, buy local, buy a book. Please.

Island realtors and experts on the market say that 2025 saw the market settle into a stable pattern of growth for the first time since the pandemic, and the trend is expected to continue into 2026.

13 different birding groups across the island- who knew? I am endlessly amazed by this place--in the best possible way.

This is sad news.....

I am coming to you with a heavy heart as this was not an easy decision for my family. We have come to the decision that we will be closing Leslie’s Pharmacy at the end of September. Our last business day will be Saturday, September 28th.

It’s a very difficult world to navigate as an Independent Pharmacy. It’s not a lucrative business as many expect, except for the insurance companies and the drug companies. Independents suffer the most due to the financial instability of the healthcare climate with no corporate overhead for insurance underpayments. We tried our best to continue on, but the time has come for us to say good bye.

We can’t thank our customers and the island community enough for all the support over the years since we bought the business in 2003. Our family has truly enjoyed serving our community.

During the next 2 weeks, we will be filling prescriptions with the stock we have, but will not be placing any new orders. Also, we will help you move your existing refills to your pharmacy of choice.
