There’s something really special about helping someone buy their very first home — and even more special when you realize just how connected this industry really is. 🏡🇺🇸
A lender I work closely with here in Virginia actually connected me with a client back when I was still living in Washington. While that particular client didn’t end up purchasing, she later referred me to this amazing buyer as he prepared for his next duty station here in Virginia.
Today, he officially closed on his very first home. 👏
He was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. Very grateful, patient, and excited throughout the entire process. Being trusted to guide someone through such a huge milestone is never something I take lightly.

Some clients become friends… and some friends become family through all the crazy chapters life throws at us. ❤️🏡

Today, I had the honor of helping Sean and Wendy close on their very first home here in Virginia!

After retiring from the Navy, Sean is starting an exciting new chapter outside of military life, while Wendy, also a veteran, continues serving and supporting fellow sailors here in the community. 🇺🇸

What makes this one extra special is our history together. We first met over 8 years ago while living in Georgia, somehow crossed paths again in Washington, and now here we are in Virginia… all putting down roots in the same place. Life is funny like that.

And let me tell you… we FOUGHT for this property. 😂 I remember asking Sean, “How bad do you want it? Say the word and I’ll put my head down and fight for this house with every trick I’ve got.”

Well… looky looky at us now. 😏🏡✨

Watching them win this home and celebrate this huge milestone was such an incredible moment, and I truly could not be happier for them. Congratulations, you two ❤️

In a competitive offer situation, we negotiated all buyer closing costs paid and a brand-new septic tank replaced by the seller.
