Story time! 📖

My first time home buyer, just got off the ship Saturday. We first spoke about his home buying process almost 2 years ago. He had a few things to work on but other than that he was almost there.

About 3 weeks ago he reached out to me that he’d be home soon and wanted to start his home search again. We got him preapproved, had a video buyer’s consult and emailed back and forth homes that he and his wife liked.

Sunday we went and looked at 8 homes followed by a few days of 1 or 2 more. We had submitted an offer on home but heard nothing back. Wednesday, my buyers asked if we could take a look at 2 more homes while we waited. I said let’s go!

Yesterday morning, as soon as we walked into this beautiful home…I KNEW immediately THIS was the house!

The night before I had already drafted up the offer so I could be ready. By noon we were signed and submitted. By bed we were negotiating. First thing this morning we were under contract!

I am so excited for my first time home buyers! From a ship 🛳️ to a home 🏡 within days!

Happy Nurses Week to the people who hold everything together when life feels uncertain. 🤍

My mom was a nurse, so I grew up seeing the long hours, the exhaustion, the sacrifice, and the heart that comes with caring for people every single day.

And over the years, I’ve experienced that care personally too.

When I was in the hospital with COVID, nurses were there during one of the hardest and scariest times of my life. And when I had my babies, nurses brought comfort, encouragement, patience, and calm into moments I’ll never forget.

Nurses do so much more than give medicine or check vitals. They comfort families, advocate for patients, celebrate miracles, and stand beside people during some of their most vulnerable moments.

So this week, I just want to say thank you. To every nurse who shows up tired but still gives their all — you matter more than you know. 💙
