I believe we have lost our ability to debate with each other openly and honestly. Today was asked to remove a comment that I posted on a repost I disagreed with. The person was upset that I said " thsnk God we are a Republic, not a Democracy and if you don't know the difference please look it up." Not disrespectful but I told that it was. When did we lose our right to free speech? It was okay to disagree with someone's position and express an opposing view, but now people are afraid of hurting someone's feelings even if what they say is either factual or opposing. I'm not a lemming that follows blindly, I was taught to think independently. Debate is healthy, so let's debate not be sheep's following blindly.
