Hi! I am Marty, your new real estate agent!

I am grateful to have you take a minute to find out a little about me. In 1990, an ambitious 18-year-old kid left his home in Asheville, NC to embark on an amazing worldwide journey as a submarine mechanic in the U S Navy. That road lead this kid to the Tidewater Area of South Eastern Virginia. Fast-forward 25 years, 6 submarine duty tours, 4 kids, 2 wives and one granddaughter later, he retired from the Navy as a Senior Chief Petty Officer and was looking for great new challenges! If you haven’t guessed it yet, that kid is me! During my time in service, I’ve come and gone from the area but all told, I’ve got over 20 years living in Hampton Roads and being a part of this amazing community. This is a great place to live! There is always something to do - from hiking and biking to surfing and sunning to farmer’s markets and food festivals! There is literally something for everyone! As a military veteran, I’ve bought and sold several homes from the other side of the closing table and I totally relate to the stress and pressure that such an important investment can place on a person and a family. Then there is the coordination of safely moving all your cherished possessions from one place to another on top of that. It can all be expensive, scary and just plain overwhelming at times! I discovered early on that the key to a smooth and economical real estate transaction is having a capable and reliable real estate agent on my team! MY MISSION
