Yesterday marked my first day as a police officer in Racine, Wisconsin. I’m excited for this new chapter—and even more excited to see what God has in store.

Since 2022, when I chose to fully trust the Lord with my plans, He’s opened doors I never imagined. He brought me from Virginia Beach to Chicago, where I had the blessing of serving with a nonprofit on the West Side—mentoring youth and promoting health and wellness in the community. Those 2.5 years were life-changing, and I’m grateful for the relationships built there.

Through obedience, God also blessed me with an incredible wife who brings peace to my life.

Now, He’s called me to serve in a new way—as a police officer. After 17 years in the Navy as military police, I believe God has placed me back in this field not just to wear the uniform, but to reflect Him through it.

If Jesus came to serve, then I want to do the same. My mission is to walk not in authority, but in service—showing compassion, empathy, and respect to everyone I encounter.

May the Holy Spirit guide my words, actions, and decisions as I strive to be an example of what it means to follow Christ in uniform.

Thank you to my family and friends who have supported me on this journey. I’m ready for what’s next.

Shout out to my nephew who just graduated from Navy bootcamp today. Super proud of him to make the decision to join the military. My prayer for him is that God uses him to bring his glory to the fleet. I pray that God sends him God-fearing woman and men Who will not only mentor him and his (Navy) career, but will also mentor him in his spiritual life. I pray a hedge of protection over him and ask that the Holy Spirit leads him on his new journey. In Jesus mighty name Amen! 🙏

HAPPY VETERANS DAY TO ALL THOSE THAT HAVE SERVED! 17 years is the Navy were the most memorable years of my life. Traveled the world, got to experience different cultures and grow as a person. Those experiences are what shaped me to be the person I am today, humble and grateful for those experiences. The greatest part of those years were creating friendships that will last forever. Not many will understand what it takes to have a career in the military and that common bound with my fellow veterans can never be replicated.
