🚨 Is the real estate market heading for a crash? 🚨

Experts say no.

Talk of recession has led some Americans to fear a housing crash like we saw in 2008. But many economists say that outcome is unlikely.

In 2023, housing inventory remains low compared to demand, unlike in 2008 when we had a housing surplus. Plus, lending reform has significantly reduced the likelihood of defaults.

While market uncertainty is always nerve-wracking, real estate remains a solid long-term investment—and slower markets are often the best time to get a good deal on a home.

January 10 is National Cut Your Energy Costs Day!

How are you keeping your utility bills down this winter? Share in comment below. Here are a few ideas for you:

Upgrade old appliances. When you shop, look for the Energy Star rating to ensure your new washing machine, dishwasher, or oven are as efficient as possible.

Switch to LED lightbulbs. These use just 8 watts to produce the same brightness as a 60-watt incandescent bulb, and today’s LEDs come in all shades and levels of warmth.

Keep an eye on the thermostat. Be sure to turn down the temperature when you’re out or invest in a programmable smart version.

Check the seals on doors and windows. Try weatherstripping or caulk as a short-term fix, or consider bringing in a professional to assess trouble areas.

Wash clothes in warm or cool water. You’ll slash the energy used for each load while prolonging the life of your clothes.

The holiday season is a great time to give back.

If you are thinking about ways to make this season extra special, here are a few of our favorite ways to deliver cheer to the community.

Help a neighbor in need: Next time you’re pulling out your garbage cans or grocery shopping, offer to do the same for an elderly neighbor.

Treat your package carriers: Leave out some goodies and a note of thanks for their hard work.

Host a block party: Organize a potluck or cookie exchange to reconnect with your neighbors and welcome new members of the community.

Overtip: Thank your regular service providers by upping their tips if you can.

Feed those in need: Donate to a local food bank or volunteer to serve a holiday meal.

An incredible journey! That's how I would describe working with the youngest client I have worked with to get to closing. It took months to get here, but I am so proud of his choice and the excellent deal we were able to work out for him. I don't know who is more proud, his mom, or myself! Lets just say that I appreciate seeing the younger generation start thinking about real estate and making financial decisions that sets them up for success in the future.

This post is way overdue, I have been really bad with my social media this year. I was privileged to work with this lovely couple in finding their home. I love their story and I am so glad they let me share this experience with them. Big Congrats!! (even though this post is coming quite late)

As I think of the things I am grateful for, I would honestly say that I am grateful for the wonderful clients I have worked with this year. I have grown a lot from working with each one of you.

I was staring out my window this morning looking at my front yard. Well, I really dislike seeing the leaves all over the yard😅.
It reminded me it is time to send this Fall maintenance checklist (see full list at the end of video), and honestly most of these things don't take too much time (except the raking leaves part which I have concluded is not my thing😂). Happy Friday folks!
