This weekend reminded me why date nights and getaways matter and most important I beat my husband in lots of things this weekend … why do I love beating him at stuff 🤣🤣
We talk a lot about building businesses, raising families, and chasing goals, but the best investment is simply spending time together.
My favorite parts of the weekend:
✅ Getting to experience Lilac, the incredible Michelin-starred restaurant, and having one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten
✅ Beating my husband at pool 🎱
✅ Beating my husband at poker ♠️♥️♣️♦️ boom
✅ Relaxing reconnecting, and enjoying uninterrupted time together while Kyle was at img camp
Only bad things
❌ Waiting over an hour for a steak at another restaurant in steak place at casino everyone says it’s such a good steak place
❌ The casino being so smoky and even the steak place has smoke coming in from the casino, we waited over an hour for the food and finally left so we never got to try
❌ Trying to sleep at the Tampa EDITION while luxury cars with extremely loud mufflers cruised around late into the night
But it was a wonderful weekend filled and quality time together
One thing Rhyan and I have committed to is making time for each other. We aim for a date night every 7 days and a getaway every 7 months. Life gets busy, businesses demand attention, and schedules fill up quickly…but your marriage deserves intentional investment
So here’s your reminder…Schedule the date night. Book the getaway. Make the memories.
Because years from now, you won’t remember another busy workweek. You’ll remember weekends like these
And for the record… I won at both pool and poker. 😂 let’s gooooooo
