📣 It’s tax season, so let’s talk taxes… JK! 😂
But seriously—what a lot of people don’t realize about being a 1099 (self-employed, independent contractor) is that I don’t collect a steady paycheck. I only make money when I actually sell houses. That means I spend years (literally five with one family!) helping people achieve their goals—all while not getting paid and actually spending money on gas, licensing, education, and fees.
I’ve heard it a million ways, and it’s true: I wake up unemployed every day. I have to hustle to earn the trust and business of every client I work with. Some agents do that by paying for leads, cold-calling, or running ads. But my business is built on relationships—on YOU. 💛
I’m not asking if you are buying or selling. But if you know someone who is, I’d love for you to think of me.
