I love working with clients throughout Hampton Roads, including Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, and the surrounding communities. Because I work with such a diverse range of clients, I receive all kinds of questions about real estate. While every situation is unique, certain topics come up time and time again.

Q: What should I look for in a real estate agent?
A: First and foremost, look for someone who is honest and genuinely has your best interests at heart. A great agent should be an excellent communicator—keeping you informed throughout the process, answering your questions promptly, and being available when you need them.
Perhaps most importantly, choose someone you enjoy working with. Sometimes buying or selling a home happens quickly, but other times the process can take months—or even years, especially when searching for the right home. Having a strong working relationship with your agent can make the experience much more enjoyable and successful. 🏠
