Rachel Salasky has been recognized by Hampton Roads’ Finest as an outstanding young professional in her community. Finest Nominees worked to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, with a personal goal of $3,000. Rachel has surpassed her goal raising $3,430 for the foundation that will go towards research and programs to find a cure. To encourage donations, she hosted an event with Club Pilates located in Virginia Beach where they raised money to find a cure while getting their sweat on. Rachel and other nominees were honored by the CF Foundation at Three Notch’d Brewery in Town Center. They celebrated with friends, family, and a CF patient that is benefiting from the research and fundraising efforts. In total the event raised $24,000 for the CF Foundation.
