If you know me at all, you know I’m basically a social media ghost 👻. You’re lucky to get a handful of posts from me a year, especially in the past few years. So when I say this post is a big deal, trust me—it really is. I’ve done the unthinkable: not only posting… but asking our community (yes, you 🤣) to help make a very special night happen for some truly incredible people.

The Tim Tebow Foundation created a global movement called Night to Shine—a prom-like event for children and adults with special needs, held the Friday before Valentine’s Day in all 50 states and 80+ countries. And when I say “prom-like,” I mean red carpet, catering, karaoke, limo rides, hair & makeup, and a sensory room. Basically, it’s prom—but better ❤️.

Now, to be clear: they are no longer accepting attendees (there are actually around 40 people on the waitlist who won’t be able to go unless we get more people to volunteer as buddies!). This post is not about signing up to attend—it’s about coming together to volunteer or sponsor and help make this night unforgettable for people who truly look forward to it all year long. This is like their Super Bowl y’all!!

The event takes place at our local VB Crossway Church , and Katelyn Berry is doing an absolutely phenomenal job putting it all together. Huge thanks to Tara Bryant for heading up the respite room for parents and for introducing me to this incredible event and to Katelyn.

🔑💟 I know she’s technically a client, but I can’t get over how much I have grown to love and adore this beautiful, brilliant, amazing, young woman over the past few months. The edges of the universe are the limit for you my friend, bc the sky simply isn’t high enough. You should be SO proud. Only 26 and buying your 1st Home. I’ve been truly blessed by God to be able to share with you this very special life moment that you’ll remember always. You are a very special kind of person that makes doing my job such a breeze, and a true joy to work with. Thank You SOOO MUCH for trusting me with such an important process. 🖼️🪴

Had a GREAT time at the 1st monthly REAL Broker Sales Meeting!! Tiffany Gelzinis Realtor & The Gelzinis Group and Micah Laurendeau put on a great gig (along with many others). Thank you also for all the info from Shel's Home Team brokered by REAL Broker, LLC on open houses, I’ll 💯DEF be stealing your ideas in this department!! We also got some cool info from Hampton Roads REALTORS Association about renting out their studio & getting super cheap headshots (flyer in photos). If you’re part of REAL, I highly suggest you make it to next month’s meeting - I added the QR Code in my pics below if you’d like to get a spot for the next one. I’d recommend doing so ASAP - last time we sold out and there were some that weren’t able to come!!🫥
