Today was about so much more than handing over keys …it was about honoring a true local hero.
Congratulations to my amazing client, Sabrina, on the purchase of her new home! Sabrina serves our community through the Virginia Beach 911 Dispatch Center, and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to help her through this exciting chapter.
When people hear “Homes for Heroes,” they often think only of military members, but our heroes are so much more than that. First responders, law enforcement, firefighters, teachers, nurses, healthcare professionals, EMS, dispatchers, military members, veterans, and many others who serve our communities may qualify for Homes for Heroes rewards.
Our 911 dispatchers are often the very first voice someone hears on the worst day of their life. They remain calm, coordinate help, support our officers and first responders, and serve behind the scenes every single day. Sabrina absolutely deserves to be recognized and celebrated for the work she does.
