The 9th Annual Farmers Markets Giving Back Food Drive benefiting JCOC is almost here!

Our amazing partners, King's Grant Farmers' Market and Old Beach Farmers Market, will once again be collecting non-perishable food donations for JCOC’s Food Pantry program. This year’s goal is to beat last year’s collection of 3,308 pounds of food! Help support individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in our community by helping us fill the truck.

• Peanut Butter & Jelly
• Cereal, Oatmeal & Grits

JCOC will be on site at the King’s Grant Farmers Market with our Foodbank truck. Come help us fill it! While you’re there, be sure to enjoy live music and support the wonderful local vendors.

As JCOC prepares to reopen our Food Pantry in the Macon & Joan Brock House on the Betty B Chidester Campus, these donations will help us continue serving neighbors in need throughout our community.

🎉 BIG NEWS, JCOC Family! 🎉

The moment we have all been waiting for is finally here! JCOC staff will officially move into the Macon & Joan Brock House on our newly built Betty B Chidester Campus on Thursday, May 28, and Friday, May 29.

This exciting milestone brings us one step closer to expanding the ways we serve our community for years to come. Soon, 38 individuals currently experiencing homelessness will be able to call this campus home. ❤️

📍 Our administrative office will reopen at the new campus, located at 1053 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23451, on Monday, June 1, at 9:00 AM.
📞 Phone service may be temporarily interrupted on Thursday, May 28.
🍽️ Community Dinner will continue to be served to-go Monday–Friday from 5:00–6:00 PM at PIN Ministry (1164 Millers Lane) until further notice.

We are still working through final preparations before opening the Food Pantry and Community Dinner at the new campus and will share updates as soon as they are available.

Thank you for your patience, encouragement, prayers, and support throughout this journey. Because of this faithful community, we are one step closer to welcoming our neighbors into a new space filled with help, hope, healing, and new beginnings.

We cannot wait to begin this exciting new chapter together!

JCOC’s Administrative Office will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day as we honor and remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. 🇺🇸

Community Dinner will still be served to-go from 5:00–6:00 PM at PIN Ministry (1164 Miller’s Lane).
