Who We Are
We have the knowledge of a local that was raised in the area, attended college here, and taught in the public school system for many years. Her husband is also law enforcement, so she can give insight to not only school districts, but into crime in the area. We have a military spouse who has gone through the PCSing process herself and knows how to make the transition a smooth one. We a
lso have an agent from another military family, who grew up locally and is bilingual in Spanish and English. We are only a call, text, email, or FB message away :)
OUR MISSION
The Virginia Relocation Team specializes in Military Relocation in the Southeastern part of Virginia. We are passionately focused on helping military families set roots down in Hampton Roads. Being in the middle of Norfolk Naval Base, Oceana, Dam Neck, Little Creek, and many other bases, we are focused on our community and our military families. The families serve just like the service members do. Since home is where the military sends you, we are determined to help your family transition to this area and find the perfect home. WHAT WE DO
Specifically, we do all of the following:
*Search for the perfect home
*Show you homes personally or via FaceTime/Video
*Write and negotiate a contract
*Guide you through the mortgage process
*Act as YOUR general agent working on your behalf for YOUR best interests
*Communicate with lender, settlement agent, and seller to get the house to closing day
*Arrange repairs or improvements
*Have house sprayed for bugs or professionally cleaned
*Meet contractor for estimates
*Keep your lawn mowed before you get here
*Stock the house so it's ready after your long PCS. There are no fees to have an agent when buying a home. The system is set up so that Sellers pay their agent to list their home, and they split their commission with the buyers agent.
