1. Exposure. A local agent is a member of the local MLS (multiple listing service) and can get the most exposure, to more buyers, the fastest.
2. Connections. Local agents have the most connections to other agencies, lenders, appraisers, etc., & is able to leverage those connections before & after the transaction.
3. Proximity. A local agent provides better service by being able to be near at any given time.
4. Local knowledge. An out-of-area agent canโ€™t know all the nuances about our community. Using
someone local will provide more accurate pricing & knowledge based on market, location &
recent comparable homes sold.
5. More qualified, local buyers to find your home. With access to other local realtors & lenders,
you have better chances of finding a buyer who is ready & qualified to purchase your home.
