✨✨5 YEARS✨✨

When you first start out in real estate, you are kindly advised that 87% of realtors drop out of the industry within 5 years.

So I determined that I would try this out for at least 5 years before making my decision because I had to beat the odds.

24 transactions as a part-time agent and just over 5 years of experience later, I can proudly say that I'm here to stay! Each of those 24 transactions has been different - mobile homes, probate, trust sale, VA loans, contingency sales, off-market deals - as far north as Sacramento and as far south as Bakersfield - I have learned something new every time!

But the reason why I'm staying is because each one of those 24 transactions are more than just a closed deal - each one is an individual person or family who I got to help realize their dream of owning (or in some cases, the sweet release of selling) a home!

When I first started out, my counselor told me I needed a visual representation of wins to help me believe in myself. So I bought a glass house and a bunch of keys and tags! Ever since, I have been tracking each transaction and what I did to celebrate. I love looking through the keys because I remember each one so vividly, and I remember the ways God intervened on our behalf and provided the solutions to close the deals. I also remember the importance of celebrating those wins and I believe celebrating does help rewire your brain to believe in yourself!

Could I do all this without my Savior, my husband, my broker, my lenders, my clients, my team? Absolutely not. But it takes no small amount of confidence to guide people through one of the largest financial purchases they'll ever make. I'm forever grateful for this opportunity and I am expectantly looking forward to what the next 5 years bring!

I have been laying low in the real estate world while growing a human, but I am finally a functioning human again! (For the most part haha!)

My husband and I are very excited to meet baby Dillon Leigh in August! The animals - arguably not as excited based on their sus little faces 😅 Chloe did enjoy the substantial lounging around and sandwiches in bed during the first trimester though 🥪

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS to my wonderful clients on SELLING their home in time to take advantage of some INSANE deals in new construction!!!

💡 From the start to the end of this transaction, God was heavily involved in the perfect timing! My clients messaged me on Instagram (which I hadn't checked in forever 🙈) and I *just happened* to check my messages on the night they sent it! They decided to list and in that 7 day period, they HUSTLED to get their house ready for photos, I got appendicitis, and was better just in time to do some light staging, and BOOM 💥 - the house was listed on day 7! We listed at a competitive price and within 12 days, we secured an offer and got the LAST new construction home available! Tell me God didn't have a hand in that....
