The Trump Administration is trying to stop the leasing of Federal "lands" to build massive wind farms. This includes the largest wind farm project ever approved in the United States off the California coast near Morro Bay. The project includes 300 one thousand foot tall "Condor Cuisanart" towers. The area of the Pacific Ocean leased is the size of the city of Los Angeles. Each tower must be anchored to the sea bottom in the middle of one of richest kelp fields on the California Coast. Newsom has promised to sue if this project is stopped. The environmentalist support the project because it creates "green" energy. We discuss all of this and more on this week's Real Talk. If a political party has a platform that supports the mutilation of children, biological men playing in women's sports, the killing of unborn children and taking children away from parents who don't support the "rights" of their child who is gender confused shouldn't we recognize that political party as evil? King Newsom signed legislation last week controlling how the remaining refineries in California operate. Phillips 66 immediately announced the closing of their Southern California refinery in 2025 which produces 8% of our dwindling supply of gasoline. Newsom said it is time to stop Big Oil from "screwing" the public. I will be doing a special podcast on the Propositions on the November ballot this week. It is time to stop feeding the pig. Not content with the legislature telling grocery stores how many employees they need to man self check out lanes, Lame Duck Newsom has called for a special legislative session to address the high cost of gas in California. His proposed solution.. tell the refineries how much reserves they must keep. 30 year mortgages stay in the low 6% and high 5% range.
