My heart is in a million pieces.

My beautiful Nina, my godmother, was so much more than family. She was a guiding light whose unconditional love, kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith touched everyone who knew her.

One of my favorite memories is of her making fresh flour tortillas when she came to visit. It was such a simple act, but it perfectly reflected who she was. She loved through her actions and always made everyone feel welcomed and cared for.

Nina, thank you for every prayer you prayed over me, especially after I lost my mom, for every hug, every word of encouragement, and every act of unconditional love. I will carry your love with me always.

While my heart aches, I find peace knowing you are in the arms of our Lord, free from pain and reunited with those who went before you. Until we meet again, I love you dearly.

Rest in eternal peace, my beautiful Nina. 🤍🙏
