Hi Friends and Family,
As you know DJ and I are involved with March of Dimes and American Heart Association since we worked together in 2012 to get AB1731 passed into California law for newborns to be screened at birth for congenital heart defects (law was passed and goes into effect July 1, 2013). Well since then we are now working with Tr-City Medical Center in Oceanside, CA and a team of doctors and nurses to get "Code Caleb" into every hospital with an emergency room and NICU. Code Caleb will alert the hospital of a baby under 60 days old that is coming into the hospital in distress. The hospital will call a "Code Caleb" and a team of a trained Neo-Natologist, NICU nurse, and pediatric respiratory therapist will immediately respond to the emergency room to give the baby the best and fastest care possible.
The March of Dimes has decided that they want to come along side of our team and help promote "Code Caleb" to ensure that no other infant has to go through the trauma our Caleb went through.
This Saturday, April 13, 2013 our family will be joining the California chapter of March of Dimes for their Walk for Babies. It is a fund raising event and we would love to have your support. There are a couple of ways to do that! You can come walk with us and earn sponsorships, or you can sponsor our family. March of Dimes was instrumental in getting AB1731 passed and knowing we now have their support with "Code Caleb" we just know it will be that much bigger!
So please check out this link which will bring you to our page and make a love donation in honor of Caleb or just for babies in general! Any amount helps and we will be blessed by it!
Thank you ahead of time for your support and love.
